Express Scripts Associate Clinical Program Manager in St. Louis, Missouri

POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Clinical Program Manager supports multiple processes owned by the Formulary Solutions team with an emphasis on Medicare formulary and Utilization Management product management.This individual will be responsible for ensuring appropriate effectuation of all ESI Standard Medicare formulary decisions based on Value Assessment Committee meetings, tracking and submission of standard formulary decisions and requirements, weekly and monthly quality check reviews to ensure accuracy of set up, support of monthly and annual Formulary Reference File review and requirements, and account team support.An understanding of formulary offerings, set up, systems, and capabilities is strongly preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Interpret formulary requirements to ensure accurate internal submissions and effectuation for monthly and annual formulary set up.
  • Support each aspect of monthly and annual CMS formulary submissions to ensure accuracy of submissions and compliance
  • Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure accuracy of formulary and utilization management set-up.
  • Support Medicare Value Assessment Committee processes.
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional teams identify areas for process improvements.
  • Support annual disruption reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing, Doctor of Pharmacy and advanced degrees or pharmacy residency preferred
  • 2+ years general pharmacy experience, 1+ years being managed care, or PBM-like focus in managed care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Experienced with multiple task handling, prioritization, issue resolution, and project management in collaboration with multiple internal and external customers.
  • Attention to detail and ability to comprehend complex guidance to maintain compliance.
  • Experience with Medicare preferred
